Retail Store Auditor – Inventory & Compliance Team

At Pledge Financial Services , we don’t just run pawn shops — we run a growing retail brand built on trust, accuracy, and customer care. To maintain that standard, we’re looking for a Retail Store Auditor to join our Loss Prevention & Compliance team.

In this role, you’ll travel to your markets’ locations and perform comprehensive, full-store audits that include full inventory scans and detailed reporting. Additionally, you will be expected to participate and potentially manage new-store acquisitions with little to no notice. Your management skills, dedication to accuracy, and problem-solving skills will play a big part in protecting our brand and helping our new and existing teams perform at their best.

Your Responsibilities:

• Conduct full store scans of all loans, buys, layaway, and inventory items
• Assess store compliance with operational standards and policies
• Monitor, report, and coach on all AML (anti-money Laundering) activities for your assigned market
• Complete full audits of firearms and 4473s, and coach teams on firearm compliance
• Create detailed and accurate audit reports that outline opportunities and successes with regard to loss prevention and compliance
• Document findings with photos, data, and clear reporting
• Provide feedback and recommendations to store managers and teams for improvement
• Follow up to ensure corrective actions are completed
• Travel with little to no notice to participate in new store acquisitions
• Be an available resource for team members in your market who need assistance with any loss prevention or compliance topics

What We’re Looking For:

• High school diploma or equivalent (bachelor’s in business or related field is a plus)
• Experience in pawn, retail, auditing, or inventory control preferred
• Experience with firearms is preferred, but we are willing to train in this area
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Comfortable working independently and as a team, and managing time effectively
• Great communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proficiency with mobile devices, data collection tools, or inventory software
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
• Ability to travel frequently out of state, for extended periods, with little to no notice
