CNC Machinist with Programming

Randstad is seeking an experienced CNC Machinist to join a succsessful production team in the Providence Area. The candidate will perform: blueprint reading, machine & material setup, tooling changes, and quality inspections.  The ideal candidate will have a high level of machining knowledge, CAD & CAM programming experience, and the ability to troubleshoot and optimize CNC processes.  If you are an highly skilled CNC Machinist with programming experience, then this is an opportunity for you! This is a Permanent Placement Position!  Pay Rate: $32.00 - $34.00/hour  Hours: Monday through Friday    - 7:00AM -  3:30PM  (1st shift) - 11:00AM - 9:00PM  (Swing/Overlap Shift) ( Must be able to work both shifts when needed; the days may vary based on business need; but primarily 7:00AM - 3:30PM) Benefits: - Medical, Dental, Vision - Paid Vacation - 401K - Life Insurance - Other Options

Responsibilities

- Machine Setup and operation of CNC Mills and/or Lathes

- Change out Tooling per job setup

- Create and modify CNC programs using CAD/CAM software

- Edit and troubleshoot G-code at the machine

- Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements

- Select tooling, speeds & feeds for various materials

- Perform first-article inspections using preceision measuring devices

- Experience with Mastercam, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, or similar software

- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings

- Understanding of geometry, dimensioning, and tolerancing

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
