Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is recruiting for Radiologic Technologists who perform radiographic procedures employing the use of x-rays to produce images of various parts of the body for the diagnosis of pathological and traumatic disorders. Radiologic Technologists move and position patients; perform radiographic examinations of patients; instruct and direct Radiologic Technologist Trainees and students in the use of equipment, proper techniques and procedures. Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is located on a beautiful 70-acre campus in Colton, California (50 miles east of Los Angeles), Arrowhead Regional Medical Center (ARMC) is a state-of-the-art, public/nonprofit, 456-bed, university affiliated teaching hospital licensed by the State of California Department of Public Health and accredited by The Joint Commission. The hospital houses a regional burn center serving four counties (San Bernardino, Riverside, Mono and Inyo), a comprehensive stroke center, level I trauma center and a freestanding in-patient behavioral health center. Additionally, ARMC operates five community-based, primary care clinics and over 40 specialty care outpatient services. ARMC is the primary teaching hospital for the adjacently located California University of Science and Medicine (CUSM), the Inland Empire's newest medical school.

Minimum Requirements

Required certifications, registrations & licenses: State of California, Department of Public Health as a Radiologic Technologist Certification Healthcare Provider Level Basic Life Support certification issued by the American Health Association Registration with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).

Required experience: Option 1: Two (2) years of experience in a hospital or medical institution as a registered x-ray technologist. -OR- Option 2: Completion of the ARMC Radiologic Technology Program and one (1) year of experience in a hospital or medical institution as a registered x-ray technologist (post certificate).

ARMC Graduates: If applying as a graduate of the ARMC Radiologic Technology Program (Option 2 of the Experience Requirement), you must provide proof of graduation from the program. Acceptable forms of proof include your degree or transcripts indicating successful completion of the program.
