Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse (Neuro/Acute Care & Neuro Stepdown) – Tennessee

Start Date: August 17, 2026

Location: Nashville, Tennessee

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Weekend shifts required; rotating schedule; experienced nurses eligible to float after orientation

Highlights:

• 30-bed unit featuring 22 Acute Care beds and 8 Neuro Stepdown beds with comprehensive neuro and stroke specialization
• Patient ratios of 6:1 on Acute Care and 4:1 on Neuro Stepdown, supported by dedicated charge nurse, unit secretary, and 1-2 techs
• Work with advanced equipment including Vapotherm, BiPAP, trachs, titrating cardiac drips, high flow oxygen, chest tubes, and various drips
• Electronic medical record system: Meditech
• Excellent stepping stone for nurses seeking ICU experience with strong mentorship and skill development
• Employee recognition programs including ICARE recognition, shout out board, and employee of the month awards

Requirements:

• Active and unrestricted RN license in Tennessee
• BLS certification required for Acute Care
• BLS and ACLS certifications required for Neuro Stepdown
• Strong nursing skills, time management, and critical thinking abilities
• Stepdown experience preferred for Neuro Stepdown assignment
• Experience with common procedures such as lumbar puncture and chest tube placement preferred
