Job Description
CATH LAB RN - RN CIRCULATOR

Schedule:
- Shift Type: Rotating
- Shift Times: 0700-1730 early, 0700-1730 late, 1000-2030 as needed
- Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required

Assignment Details:
- Guaranteed Hours: 40/week
- Call Requirement: Rotating on-call (evenings, nights, weekends, holidays)

Requirements:
- License: RN license required
- Certifications: ACLS, BLS
- Years of Experience: Minimum of 2 years RN experience, with at least 1 year in Electrophysiology (EP)
- Unit-Specific Skills: Trauma Level I experience required, interventional scrub experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide patient care in a high-volume, high-acuity Cath Lab setting.
- Perform RN circulator duties, including conscious sedation administration, sterile handoffs, and vital signs assessment.
- Document patient information in the electronic medical record (EPIC).
- Recognize and manage dysrhythmias and perform hemodynamic monitoring tasks.
- Collaborate with support services, including IV teams and transport.
- Utilize equipment such as Impella and IABP as needed.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: Approximately 40 hours
- Documentation deadlines: All required documentation is due by 3 PM CST on Monday before the start week.
- Must pass Relias EKG exam.
