Social Media Content Lead (Short-Form Focused)

Veloci makes premium daily running shoes with longevity in sport at the center: an anatomically shaped toe box in a standard width, a 10mm drop for lower leg support, and aesthetic-forward designs great for the run and after. We're a lean team based in Austin working to drive our mission forward of empowering people to do more of what they love. Why your role matters Our content is the most consistent way we engage with the running community in order to foster long term relationships with raving fans, and effectively connect with new customers. That makes the role very connected to revenue, and long term brand growth. We are looking for someone who has real experience scaling emerging brand content or building other followings around short-form content to join and build on your experience in a team setting. What you'll do Create short-form video every week, from concept to shoot to edit to post with the mindset of both organic brand growth, and usage of content for paid ads. Test, analyze, and reiterate based on what we are seeing working and where we want to go on a consistent basis. Get our founder on camera regularly and make him better at it: product stories, factory trips, fit explainers, and behind the scenes on new shoes. Story-telling and sharing what we believe in is a core foundation of Veloci. Support the continued build of our reviewer and earned media partnership program. Get new shoes to reviewers and publicists via cold reachouts and nurturing existing relationships. Work with our marketing lead on what to test each week, read the results, and apply learnings consistently. Capture our community: group runs from HQ, race weekends, and the people who run in Veloci every day, documenting not only their steps but our own. What we're looking for 3–5+ years making short-form video for a brand, or as a creator who has built a following, looking at 100k+. You shoot and edit yourself. This is a boots-on-the-ground role, not just oversight of the space. A portfolio with results. Show us videos you made and tell us what they did: views and saves, and the impact that your work has had on other teams. You know what stops someone scrolling in the first two seconds, and are capable of building an audience around a brand. We stand behind the product, we just need to capture their attention first. You're comfortable directing people who aren't actors: founders, runners, customers and editing it to create content people are interested in. You can keep a weekly cadence, manage relationships with partners, and can manage work across multiple timelines.
