Underwriting Technical Coordinator

Position Summary Underwriting Coordinator supports the day‑to‑day operations of a wholesale insurance team by managing binding processes, navigating carrier portals, and ensuring accurate and timely completion of policy documentation. The role handles endorsements, gathers and organizes required file information, and maintains strong communication with agents and carriers to resolve questions and obtain necessary details. Job Responsibilities Support the team with binding processes. Navigate carrier portals to complete bind orders efficiently. Process paperwork and follow up on outstanding documentation. Handle endorsement requests and processing. Gather and organize required information to complete files. Set up and maintain files, including importing documentation as needed. Request necessary information from agents in a timely manner. Collaborate with carriers to resolve questions and disputes. Provide general team support as needed. Continuously build knowledge of the industry and the role of wholesale within it. Work Experience and Education BA/BS degree in Business or Risk Management. 6 months to 1 year of experience in a related field or similar role. Knowledge of insurance and policy issuance systems. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Skills Technical/Functional Skills: Results‑driven, insurance regulation knowledge, critical thinking, quoting, negotiation, business development. Behavioral Skills: Time management, multitasking, decision‑making, strong communication. Salary Target hourly rate: $23.00 – $28.85 per hour. Salary may be adjusted based on training, transferable skills, work experience, licensure, certification, business needs, and market demands.
