Job Title: Post Doc Computational - Meyer Lab Job Number: 133028 Location: Cold Spring Harbor, US Dr. Hannah Meyer at the Simons Center for Quantitative Biology at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory (CSHL) invites applications for a postdoctoral position in developmental immunology. The Meyer lab studies how the organization of the thymus and the cells within provide an effective education system for T cells through genomics and mathematical modeling. The research focuses on developmental immunology and the mechanisms of human T cell development. Position Responsibilities The successful candidate will study tolerance induction and generation of diversity in the immune system as part of a larger interdisciplinary team of computational and experimental scientists. The approach uses single‑cell omics, high‑resolution microscopy, and in‑vitro models to investigate mechanisms of human T cell development. The scientific direction of the project can be tailored to the applicant’s prior experience. Candidates with a strong background in immunology or expertise in computational analysis or wet‑lab experimentation are encouraged to apply. Position Requirements A Ph.D. in Immunology, Bioinformatics, Quantitative Biology, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Physics. Expertise in scientific programming (C/C++, Python, Matlab, R) or experimental immunology (flow cytometry, next‑generation sequencing) with experience in scientific data visualization. Resourcefulness, independence, willingness to lead and actively drive research projects. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this role is $78,000 per annum. Compensation may be modified in the future based on experience, credentials, and internal equity.
