Together, we're improving health and improving lives.Labcorp is seeking a Specimen Processor II to join our team in Woodland Park, NJ.Work Schedule:Monday – Friday 9:30am– 6:00pmJob Responsibilities:Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testingCommunicate effectively with client office staffResearch, troubleshoot and resolve customer and specimen problemsMeet department activity and production goalsData entry of patient information in an accurate and timely mannerAccurately identify and label specimensPack and ship specimens to proper testing facilitiesScrub requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items are updatedDo spinning/freezing/splitting and other special services as needed based on clientMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED or equivalent1 year or more experience (lab, accessioning, data entry, manufacturing or warehousePreferred Qualifications:1 year or more of medical or patient facing healthcare experienceAdditional Job Standards:Comfortable handling biological specimensAbility to accurately identify specimensExperience working in a team environmentStrong data entry and organizational skillsHigh level of attention to detailExperience with MS OfficeAble to lift up to 40lbs.Able to pass a standardized color blindness testAre you organized, accountable, and have always gone the extra mile to make sure things are done right? Employees regularly scheduled to work less than 20 hours, Casual, Intern, and Temporary employees are only eligible to participate in the 401(k) Plan.
