Human Resource Manager/ Staffing

Overview Join our team at Mill Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center as a Human Resource Manager and Staffing Coordinator. Proudly supported by Marquis Health Consulting Services. Full-time opportunities available. Same Day Pay! $25-$30 an hour. Responsibilities Reviewing requests for paid time off (PTO), vacation, maternity leave, Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), and unpaid leaves of absence Fulfilling staffing vacancies in advance to ensure adequate coverages for all shifts Submitting payroll on a biweekly basis for all staff Checking time clock punch records against master schedules and noting the appropriate changes Signing time correction forms for events such as missing meal periods or forgetting to clock in/out Approving contracts with temporary staffing agencies who send nurses / nursing assistants to the facility Utilizing computer software to prepare, change and update the master schedule Qualifications Two years of bookkeeping experience within a healthcare setting, including, but not limited to: managing accounts receivable, accounts payable, and payroll functions Software proficiency such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, vendors and the general public Must have knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques Prior experience in Human Resources within a nursing center or healthcare setting Payroll experience Nurse Scheduling experience preferred Benefits Tuition reimbursement Employee referral bonus Health, vision, and dental benefits 401(k) with match Employee engagement and culture committee Company sponsored life insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) resources Join our team at Mill Brook Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 152-bed Sub-Acute, and Long-Term Care facility where compassion and quality care are at the heart of everything we do.
