This role combines team leadership, strategic planning, and design oversight, ensuring that the user perspective is consistently represented in all product decisions. MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT ● Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX Designers, Researchers, and Writers ● Define and enforce UX standards, design guidelines, and best practices ● Collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, and stakeholders to align UX efforts with business goals ● Drive UX strategy across multiple products or platforms ● Prioritize UX initiatives and allocate resources effectively ● Advocate for the user at all levels of the organization ● Review design deliverables to ensure quality, consistency, and usability ● Measure and report on UX impact, including usability metrics, engagement, and customer satisfaction WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO SUCCEED Bring your program management expertise along with a drive for innovation to GDIT. The likely salary range for this position is $165,750 - $224,250. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
