PART TIME MEDICAL ASSISTANT NEEDED FOR FAMILY MEDICINE PRACTICE IN CARRBORO!

SCHEDULE:

8HOUR SHIFTS 3 TO 4 DAYS PER WEEK

MUST BE ABLE TO WORK FULL 8 HOUR SHIFT (8AM TO 5PM)

CMA/RMA NOT REQUIRED BUT STRONGLY PREFERRED.

PRIOR E-CLINICALWORKS EXPEREINCE A MAJOR PLUS!

PAY: $20-$22/HOUR DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

Summary:

The Medical Assistant is responsible for accurately rooming patients, assisting with phone duties and ensuring communication between the Physician, midlevel and Nurse, in order to give safe and competent clinical care to the patients.

Requirements:

- Current Medical Assistant Certification or Registration is strongly preferred.

- At least 2 years experience in a fast-paced, high volume clinic environment

- Excellent knowledge of EMR and computer systems

- Sensitivity to patient problems and concerns

- Current BLS certification
