Our client, a busy medical practice in the Doylestown area, is seeking a Patient Service Associate (PSA) t o support front desk operations and provide an exceptional patient experience. This is a contract position expected to last approximately 8 weeks and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

The Patient Service Associate will serve as the first point of contact for patients and visitors while managing a high volume of administrative, scheduling, and patient support responsibilities. This position is fully on-site with hours of 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday .

Key Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients for appointments
• Answer and direct incoming phone calls professionally and efficiently
• Schedule, reschedule, and confirm patient appointments
• Maintain accurate patient information within EPIC
• Scan and upload medical records and documentation into patient charts
• Assist with patient registration and demographic updates
• Manage incoming faxes and other office correspondence
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Maintain confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times

• Previous experience in a customer service or patient-facing support role.
• Ability to manage a high volume of inbound calls while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
• Experience scheduling appointments in a healthcare or clinical environment.
• Working knowledge of Epic software or a comparable electronic health record system.
• Familiarity with neurology practice support or another specialized medical office setting is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail when handling charts, graphs, and patient-related documentation.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to learn new processes through training.
