Role Description The Warehouse Team Lead at 72 Degrees East is a full-time, on-site role based in Hamilton Township, NJ. The Team Lead supervises day-to-day warehouse activities, including receiving, packing, shipping, and inventory handling, ensuring that all tasks are completed accurately and on schedule. This role coordinates the work of warehouse staff, assigns tasks, and monitors performance to maintain productivity, safety, and quality standards. The Team Lead supports inventory control processes, verifies stock levels, and helps investigate discrepancies. Daily responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized warehouse, communicating clearly with team members and management, and assisting with process improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong supervisory skills and team leadership capabilities to guide warehouse staff and support performance management. Candidates should possess experience in operations management, including workflow coordination, process adherence, and continuous improvement in a warehouse or logistics environment. Candidates should possess practical skills in packing, order fulfillment, and handling of goods with attention to accuracy, safety, and quality. Candidates should possess inventory control skills, including stock tracking, cycle counts, and reconciliation of inventory records. Candidates should possess clear and professional communication skills for interacting with team members, cross-functional partners, and management. Experience in warehouse safety practices, use of basic warehouse equipment, and adherence to OSHA or similar guidelines is beneficial. Strong organizational skills, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically active environment are required.
