FLOCK at Park Park is a food truck park and bar in downtown Alton, IL. Our menu focuses on freshly and thoughtfully crafted cocktails and mocktails! We are looking for an enthusiastic Bar Manager to oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including, staff management, inventory control, and provide ecellent guest drinking experience. Our bar creates classic and innovative drinks exceeding customers’ needs and expectations. This position is seasonal, full-time, with day shift, night shift, and weekend schedules. Compensation includes tips.

BASSET Certification required

1+ Year Bartending and manager experience preferred

Valid driver's license required

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of the bar operations, including staff management, inventory control, and customer service
• Train, supervise, and schedule bartenders and bar staff
• Create and maintain drink menus and make recommendations based on guest preferences
• Manage inventory by monitoring levels, ordering suppleis, and restocking
• Prepare alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, take orders, and serve guests
• Process payments, maintain accurate cash records, and verify guest ID and legal drinking age
• Deliver an excellent guest experience by resolving concerns promptly and professionally
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and alcohol service rules; keep the bar clean, stocked, and organized

Skills

• Resume and proven working experience as a bar manager and bartender
• Excellent knowledge in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
• Computer literacy
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

Physical & Environmental Requirements

• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Work environment: Open Air Bar
