About the Role:

New Horizon Therapy is seeking a PRN Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to help as needed in a clinical environment. 

Position Details
• PRN / As-needed.
• Flexible scheduling.
• Weekdays. No weekends.  
• Supportive therapy team.  
• A contract position.  

What You’ll Do
• Provide pediatric occupational therapy treatments under the direction of the OT
• Follow through with written plans
• Document treatments 
• Collaborate with therapy team as needed
• Support a positive and engaging environment

What We’re Looking For
• Active COTA license in Arizona
• Strong documentation and communication skills
• Reliable and flexible with scheduling

Responsibilities:

• Assist Occupational Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans.
• Conduct therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families.
• Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment for clients.

Requirements:

• Current certification as an Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).
• Active state licensure in Arizona.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience with pediatric clients.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying client needs.
• Basic proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
