Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Napa, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/28/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse opportunity available in an acute care hospital setting. This position involves providing specialized care to women during labor, delivery, and postpartum, supporting high-risk and routine obstetric cases. The role requires active participation in a fast-paced environment to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes. Job Details Qualifications: Valid Compact state license; BLS (Basic Life Support); NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program); at least 1 year of experience in labor and delivery. Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities: Administering blood and blood products, assisting with vaginal deliveries and cesarean sections, performing sterile vaginal exams, managing fetal and maternal monitoring, providing postpartum care, and supporting neonatal resuscitation. Certifications: BLS; NRP; additional certifications such as AWHONN Advanced and Intermediate preferred. Additional Information: Candidates should be prepared to float between units as needed, with potential for call depending on census. All modules are completed pre-start and during orientation, as required. Submission Requirements: Must include responses regarding previous experience at a Providence facility, along with two references covering the past year within the last three years.
