Litigation Partner - Insurance Defense

Our client is seeking an experienced Litigation Partner to join its growing Uniondale, NY office. This leadership opportunity is ideal for an accomplished insurance defense attorney who is looking to independently manage complex litigation matters, mentor junior attorneys, and contribute to the continued growth of the firm's Long Island office. Key Responsibilities Manage a full caseload of insurance defense matters, including Labor Law/Construction Litigation, Premises Liability, Motor Vehicle, Property Damage, and General Liability claims. Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, mediations, and trials. Supervise and mentor junior litigation associates while providing limited administrative oversight. Appear in state and local courts throughout the New York City metropolitan area and surrounding regions. Develop litigation strategies and effectively advocate on behalf of clients. Collaborate with attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management and successful case outcomes. Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Active New York State Bar admission in good standing. 7+ years of insurance defense litigation experience (6-10+ years preferred). Proven ability to independently manage complex litigation matters. Strong courtroom presence, legal writing, negotiation, and advocacy skills. Leadership experience with the ability to mentor junior attorneys. Passion for litigation and client advocacy.
