Exciting news! We're looking for a Welding Fabricator I to join our Weld Department. Working Schedule: 6:00AM-4:30PM Monday-Thursday with some Friday OT required.

$22.42/hr - $24.06/hr

Summary

Assists the department with welding and fabricating steel structural frames and sheet metal frames for environmental test chambers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Grinds, cuts, and copes steel.

· Fabricates steel.

· Builds sheet metal frames and steel frames.

· Assists with job set up.

· Performs TIG and MIG welding.

· Reads and interprets blueprints.

· Daily use of hand and power tools.

· Cleans work area, machines, tools, and equipment.

· Regular physical attendance is required.

· Performs other routine duties as assigned.

Education

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.

· Welding certificate preferred.

Skills and Experience

· Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide, required.

· Ability to read prints required.

· Ability to read a tape measure required.

· Basic computer skills preferred.
