Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Pediatric Cardiology Intensive Care Unit (PICU) to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct and individualized nursing care to acutely ill pediatric patients with cardiac conditions.
• Monitor, record, and communicate patient condition as appropriate utilizing EPIC medical record system.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team to plan and carry out patient treatment plans.
• Administer medications, treatments, and manage central lines and ventilated patients effectively.
• Utilize advanced technologies such as ECMO and Ventricular Assist Devices to maintain patient stability.
• Rotate weekend shifts and participate in a holiday rotation as required.

Qualifications

• Current SC RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license.
• Two years of Pediatric Cardiac ICU experience required.
• Certification in PALS and BLS from the American Heart Association.
• Experience with cardiovascular and ventilatory support therapies.
• Previous experience with pediatric cardiac congenital conditions and procedures preferred.
• Effective communication and organizational skills for liaison with patients and healthcare teams.
