Schedule: 8H Rotating (Day/Evening)

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 20 weeks

Requirements:

• CRCST certification from HSPA required; other certifications such as CER, CIS, and CHL preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Sterile Processing.
• Must have at least 1 year of experience in a level 1 academic medical center with 20 or more ORs.
• Service Line experience is required.
• Competence in Decontamination, Prep and Pack, Steam sterilization, Low temperature sterilization, and endoscope processing.
• Familiarity with Olympus scopes and washers, and loaner trays.
• Experienced with DaVinci Robot Xi.
• Time to process: Minor set - less than 7 minutes, Dental set - under 4 minutes, Ortho tray - 15 minutes.

Compliance / Notes:

• Float is required; every other weekend.
• Public transportation is not accessible; reliable transportation is recommended.
• Orientation takes place bi-weekly on Monday.
• Explanation required for any employment gaps over 90 days.
