We are seeking a highly skilled and adaptable Traveling Dental Assistant to join our dynamic team. Traveling Dental Assistant

Provide superior chair-side clinical support to Doctors and Hygienists, including charting, patient education, and operatory set-up and clean-up.
Manage patient flow by prioritizing operatories and updating Doctors on patient status.
Welcome and greet patients warmly, providing personal introductions and ensuring a positive experience.
Take and process X-rays accurately and efficiently.
Perform patient hand-offs and escort patients to check-out.
Enter and update patient treatment plans under Doctor’s direction using Dentrix practice management software.
Verify patient service satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Complete sterilization processes for equipment and operatories in compliance with safety standards.
Monitor laboratory cases to ensure readiness for upcoming schedules.
Maintain emergency kits, first aid supplies, emergency medications, and oxygen tanks.
Follow maintenance schedules for dental equipment, including autoclaves and compressors, and report issues as needed.
Maintain and update the MSDS binder and adhere strictly to OSHA regulations, HIPAA guidelines, CPR, X-ray, and other certifications.
Keep up-to-date with annual continuing education requirements as mandated by the state.
Perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by supervisors.

full-time $38,000 - $49,200 per year

Monday – Thursday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (traveling between locations on a rotating schedule including New Port Richey, Tarpon Springs, Dunedin, Tampa, Valrico, Plant City, St. Petersburg, and Seminole)
Friday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (off)

• Basic life support
• Cardiopulmonary resuscitation

• Eaglesoft
• Experienced Dental Assistant (1+ years)
• Open Dental
• X-ray / Radiography Certification

High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience.
Proficiency with Dentrix dental software is essential.
Must have reliable transportation to travel between assigned locations.
Physical ability to walk, stand, communicate effectively, and update computer systems regularly.
Knowledge of OSHA, HIPAA, CPR, and X-ray certification and compliance is required.

Experience with sedation dentistry preferred but not mandatory.
