Personal Lines, Account Manager

Overview Step into a role where you’re more than an Account Manager—you’re a trusted advisor, problem‑solver, and go‑to expert for our standard Personal Lines clients. In this role, you’ll deliver proactive, best‑in‑class service while helping clients navigate their coverage with confidence. You’ll partner closely with a supportive, high‑energy team and collaborate with producers across multiple RSC offices to deliver a seamless client experience. You’ll also have the chance to mentor PL Select Assistant Account Specialists, helping them grow their skills while elevating the strength of our team. Responsibilities Build and maintain constructive and effective relationships with internal and external customers by meeting and exceeding expectations. Leverage personal insurance knowledge and expertise to actively service existing accounts and develop new business opportunities for a high‑volume, fast‑paced book of business consisting of standard personal lines clients. Foster an environment of personal accountability by managing appropriate system records of service, marketing, and policy communications with clients and carriers in AMS/EPIC accordingly. Participate in the retention of renewal business. Interact with producers and office leaders to make coverage recommendations and engage in account rounding activities. Ensure the client has continuous and proper coverage and advise the client of any recommendations within a mutually established timeline. Review current policies and provide recommendations regarding carrier placement options. Utilize department workflows and a network of industry contacts to determine appropriate coverage. Execute coverage analysis as needed and provide the client with accurate quotation for any additional coverage. Qualifications 3–5 years of Personal Lines client management experience. Valid P&C brokers’ license. Industry‑specific designations preferred (CISR, CIC or similar). Proficient in insurance agency management systems, AMS 360, Work Smart and EPIC preferred. Extensive knowledge of Personal Lines underwriting coverage and procedures. Ability to clearly articulate these products/plans to clients and underwriters. Physical Demands and Work Environment While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to regularly sit, hear, and reach with hands and arms; occasionally required to stand and walk; and must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.
