Commercial HVAC Sales Executive Compensation: $90,000 Base Salary + Commission Location: Miami, FL Position Overview A growing commercial HVAC contractor is seeking an experienced Commercial HVAC Sales Executive to develop and manage commercial HVAC installation opportunities throughout the region. This individual will focus on generating new business, building long-term client relationships, and selling large-scale HVAC installation projects to commercial customers. The ideal candidate has experience selling commercial HVAC systems and possesses a strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction processes, and commercial building infrastructure. This is a field-based sales role responsible for managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through contract execution while partnering closely with estimating and project management teams. Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales Identify and develop new commercial HVAC installation opportunities. Prospect and cultivate relationships with property managers, general contractors, developers, and commercial building owners. Generate new business through networking, referrals, and strategic business development initiatives. Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation through contract execution. Commercial HVAC Sales Sell commercial HVAC installation projects including rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, and other large mechanical systems. Develop customized solutions that align with customer needs and project requirements. Present proposals, negotiate contracts, and successfully close new business opportunities. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while identifying opportunities for repeat business. Project Development Review and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and construction documents. Prepare project proposals, estimates, and bid packages. Coordinate with estimating and project management teams to ensure accurate project scoping and successful project execution. Support customers throughout the bidding, proposal, and contract process. Client Relationship Management Build long-term relationships with property managers, developers, contractors, and commercial clients. Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the sales process. Provide exceptional customer service while maintaining regular communication with clients and internal teams. Qualifications Required 3+ years of commercial HVAC sales experience. Strong understanding of commercial HVAC and mechanical systems. Experience selling rooftop units, chillers, cooling towers, and large-tonnage HVAC systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and construction documents. Strong business development, negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and sales opportunities simultaneously. Preferred Experience selling to property managers, developers, general contractors, and commercial building owners. Bilingual (English/Spanish).
