Community Outreach Specialist
$18 per hourPORT Health
For Bladen County residents only. Education and Outreach Specialist This role is a community‑based position that bridges community members and providers through outreach and education across southern Trillium counties on the east coast of North Carolina. The role includes attending community events, which may include evenings, weekends, and holidays. Flexibility is essential to accommodate community events outside of standard business hours. Candidates must reside in Bladen County and be comfortable traveling to Jones, Onslow, Pender, New Hanover, Brunswick, Bladen, or Columbus. Management preference: Experience with the unhoused population and/or community‑based experience. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. Valid NC driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles used for work. Working relationships with community referrals. Ability to manage multiple projects and strong attention to detail. Benefits Hourly rate: $18. PTO to recharge and relax. Medical, dental, and vision coverage plus optional FSA.
