About the Role
The Company is seeking an Area Vice President of Community Development to take on a pivotal leadership role in expanding its community presence, strengthening referral partnerships, and driving growth across multiple markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and developing high-performing community development teams, creating and executing strategic growth initiatives, and ensuring that each location meets its business development goals. This role involves supporting initial business development for new startups and acquisitions, conducting market research, and outreach, as well as negotiating with health plans and other large referral sources. The Area Vice President will also be involved in coaching and supporting Executive Directors, monitoring performance, and making recommendations for success. Applicants for the Area Vice President of Community Development position at the company must have a minimum of 3 years' experience in strategic planning and execution, as well as a strong background in contracting, negotiating, and management. The role requires the ability to plan sales strategies, advertising campaigns, and successful public relations efforts. The ideal candidate will be flexible in their work schedule and be adept at analyzing and evaluating the effectiveness of development methods. Responsibilities also include representing the company at various community and business meetings, promoting positive relations with a range of healthcare and hospice referral sources, and working with the executive team to develop strategic marketing and business plans.
