Family PhysicianIWS Family Health, a community health center providing preventive health care services to children and families, seeks a family physician to work as a critical part of its medical team. This position was designed with a full-time provider in mind, but we are open to candidates looking for a part-time schedule.Manage primary, acute and chronic health problems affecting women through comprehensive history and physical examination, assessment and diagnostics in outpatient settingOrder, perform and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests and proceduresManagement of full spectrum of contraceptionPrescribe pharmacologic and non –pharmacologic interventionsCollaborate and coordinate with the primary care team to deliver evidence-based care and to establish best practices in clinical careOpportunity for administrative role for qualified candidateKnowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesMD or DO from accredited institutionActive licensure in the State of Illinois as a physicianBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Family PracticeBLS and CPR certification is requiredPrevious experience working in a community health center is preferredProficiency in Spanish is preferredCompensation and BenefitsThe salary range for this position is $185,400 - $247,200 depending on experience.
