Sanitation Manager

Spectra Tech, Inc. is hiring for a Sanitation Manager in Coconut Creek, FL.

Job Description

The Sanitation Manager will lead the sanitation team across a 24/7 industrial food manufacturing operation, ensuring compliance with food safety standards and maintaining a clean, safe production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage 19+ sanitation employees across 3 shifts
• Ensure compliance with:
  • SQF
  • AIB
  • HACCP
  • FDA/FSMA standards
• Oversee:
  • Master Sanitation Schedules
  • CIP/COP programs
  • Environmental monitoring programs
• Serve as a key point of contact during food safety audits
• Coordinate chemical programs
• Collaborate closely with Maintenance and Quality Assurance (QA) teams

Educational Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent

Experience Requirements

• 5+ years of sanitation experience in food manufacturing
• 2+ years in a supervisory role
• Working knowledge of:
  • GMP
  • HACCP
  • SQF requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) strongly preferred, but not required

• SQF Practitioner or PCQI certification preferred
