At Augusta Rental Homes, we're looking for a Groundskeeper/General Laborer to join our dynamic team, where you'll play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the quality of our properties. $15 - $18 per hour

• Maintain outdoor properties and perform physical support tasks to keep grounds clean, safe, and attractive

• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, helping track progress and identify areas for improvement

• Communicate effectively with residents and team members, fostering a positive and cooperative environment for all parties involved

• Loading and unloading materials or products

• Cleaning and preparing work areas

• Operating basic tools or equipment

• Assisting maintenance technicians as needed

• Moving supplies, equipment, or furniture

• Performing general maintenance or cleanup

• Groundskeeping and outdoor labor

• Job site cleanup

• Material handling

• Demolition support

• Recordkeeping: Skill in maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities for tracking and improvement purposes

• Strong communication skills: Effectively interact with residents and team members, fostering a positive environment

• Physical stamina and strength: Comfort with active, physically demanding, and repetitive work

• Dependability and punctuality: Showing up on time and ready to work

• Flexibility and willingness to help: Stepping in wherever support is needed

• A positive attitude and strong work ethic: Taking pride in getting the job done

• Willingness to learn: Being open to new tasks, tools, and instructions

• Team-oriented mindset: Understanding how individual work supports the bigger picture

• Must have an unrestricted driver's license, a working cell phone, and reliable transportation

• High School diploma or GED

• Work is performed in a variety of environments and requires the ability to operate standard maintenance tools

• Must stand, walk, and sit; talk or hear, both in person and by telephone; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects or controls; and reach with hands and arms

• Regularly required to stoop, kneel, frequently bend, crouch, and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs

• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus

• Must have the ability to operate a vehicle to visit and perform property inspections

• Ground maintenance work is done outdoors in all weather conditions. Some work is seasonal, available mainly in the spring, summer, and fall
