Speech-Language Pathologist (MAT LEAVE COVERAGE)

Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) at TKC Therapy We are looking for temporary coverage for our SLP who will be on maternity leave from September 2026 through February 2027. This would consist of ~30 billed hours of work per week, followed by the opportunity to stay on staff as a PRN therapist once coverage has ended. All kids are on-site daily, and you decide when you want to work! About Us: TKC Therapy provides in-house, high-quality, and intensive PT, OT, and ST services to children attending The Kidz Club (TKC), a Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) center. PPEC centers provide daily skilled nursing care to medically-complex children, ages birth to under 21. Learn more about us by visiting our website [ Responsibilities: 1. Assess and diagnose a variety of speech, language, and feeding disorders for the medical population, ages birth to 21. 2. Develop individualized treatment plans following a comprehensive evaluation to address clients' communication and feeding difficulties. 3. Utilize evidence-based practice in therapy sessions tailored to each client's specific needs. 4. Complete all documentation and treatment plans in a timely, thorough manner. 5. Provide education and guidance to clients, families, and caregivers on strategies for carry-over therapy at home. 6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and fellow therapists, to coordinate comprehensive care for clients. 7. Stay current with advancements in the field through continuing education and professional development activities. 8. Adhere to ethical and professional standards outlined by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing boards. Qualifications: 1. Possession of a master's degree in speech-language pathology from an accredited program, your Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA, and state licensure from the Department of Health. 2. Clinical experience working with the pediatric population (medical pediatric population strongly preferred). 3. Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients, families, and interdisciplinary teams. 4. Proficiency using standardized assessment tools, therapeutic interventions, and assistive technologies relevant to the field. 5. Commitment to maintaining professional competency and adhering to HIPAA policies and ethical standards. 6. Current CPR (BLS) certificate. Benefits: (for part-time/PRN employees)

• This is a W-2 position
• Flexible schedule – start/end time and daily scheduling of patients is

heavily up to therapist, as long as caseload productivity is being met. We are open Saturdays if you’d like the opportunity to see extra hours, but this is not required.
