- Conduct evaluations across pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations, employing standardized assessments and observational methods.
- Craft personalized treatment strategies that address both immediate objectives and long-term communication or swallowing challenges.
- Deliver focused speech therapy interventions, targeting areas such as language, fluency, voice, and swallowing issues.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including physical and occupational therapists, nursing staff, and physicians, to ensure integrated care approaches.
- Provide necessary education for patients and their families to facilitate progress during therapy and at home.
- Manage occasional inpatient evaluations and interventions, maintaining a seamless care experience for everyone involved.
- Document patient progress accurately and promptly, adhering to all relevant guidelines and regulations.
- Engage in continued education to stay abreast of new techniques and insights in the field.
- An accredited Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if ASHA certification is not yet achieved.
- State license as a Speech Language Pathologist .
- Preferred: ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first month of employment.
- Expertise in evidence-informed treatment methodologies for a diverse range of ages and conditions related to speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
