Responsibilities Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and corridors for cleanliness and quality, updating room status as needed. Monitor and evaluate the performance of housekeeping staff, ensuring tasks are completed on time and up to standard. Provide organization, guidance, and communication while reinforcing the hotel's high standards. Ensure housekeeping carts and linen closets are clean, organized, and fully stocked. Inspect VIP rooms and randomly check rooms for quality compliance, reporting any maintenance issues. Handle special guest requests and assist with deliveries, ensuring timely service. Maintain proper staffing levels and oversee the smooth operation of the housekeeping department. Report any suspicious activity or hazardous conditions to the Loss Prevention Department and respond to guest inquiries. Qualifications Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. High School education preferred. Minimum six months of supervisory experience or one year of relevant housekeeping and clerical experience required. Must be efficient with computer programs. Must have both written and verbal skills in English to communicate with other departments and guests. Capable of providing clear direction, instruction, and guidance to team members. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines. Able to exercise judgment and monitor staff performance effectively.
