Corporate Legal Assistant

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Assistant to support the Legal Department across operational, administrative, and financial functions. The Legal Assistant will serve a lead support function in the upcoming transition and data migration to a new document management system. This role will serve as a key partner in improving operational efficiency, while also supporting core legal activities such as legal billing, contract administration, case tracking, and corporate record management. This position is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in legal support who is interested in the operational side of a legal function. Essential Functions and Responsibilities Legal Billing Serve as a key Legal Tracker company administrator supporting invoicing, external counsel billing management, vendor onboarding, and matter management Serve as a company liaison to outside counsel to streamline invoice processing and ensure compliance with guidelines Corporate Records Administration Serve as a key administrator companywide Document Management System, including maintaining and organizing corporate records, contracts, board materials, correspondence, and governance documents Support contract lifecycle management, including tracking, organization, and execution processes Administrative & Operational Support Coordinate meetings, calendars, and communications for the legal team Support Platform Operations with onboarding new customers Maintain and periodically update legal templates, playbooks, and knowledge resources at the direction of relevant corporate counsel Manage legal vendor and subscription management Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion Experience working with outside counsel billing management Familiarity with contract lifecycle management tools or document management systems, such as Epona Exposure to patents, licensing, or corporate legal environments is a plus Education/Certification Required Experience 5–8+ years of experience in a legal support or legal operations role Experience with legal billing systems strongly preferred #J-18808-Ljbffr
