The ideal candidate must have experience (5+ years) specifically with 5 axis machining.At CTD and CGAF, we offer growth opportunities, great benefits and a climate-controlled facility. This position will manufacture parts per specifications in an accurate and timely manner, utilizing CNC machining.Primary Responsibilities:Set -up and operate CNC machinesUtilize the ERP systemFollow instructions (i.e. work orders, 2-D drawings, process sheets, etc.) to ensure that parts are produced to engineering specificationsCalculate dimensions and tolerances using knowledge of mathematics and instruments such as micrometers and calipersPerform repairs where neededSet up, adjust, and operate all of the basic machine tools and many specialized or advanced variation tools in order to perform precision machining operationsAlign and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, accessories, and materials onto machinesAccurately record data and informationMaintain continuity among shifts through communication and documentationFollow procedures written in the Quality Systems ManualQualifications and SkillsProficient computer skills including the use of MS officeExperience with WorkNC or PowerMill is preferredKnowledge in use of precision measuring tools, including but not limited to: micrometers (ID, OD, and depth) and calipersAbility to interact effectively with various departments in the organizationEffective communication and conflict resolution skillsTroubleshooting and problem solving skills requiredMust possess strong work values; Dependability, honesty, self-confidence, positive attitude, and good attendanceA minimum of five (5) years of 5-axis experienceHigh School Diploma or equivalent is requiredCommercial Tool Group (Commercial Tool & Die; CG Automation & Fixture; and CG Plastics) is an Equal Opportunity Employer
