Manufacturing Technician ILocation: Hillsboro, OR 97124 (100% Onsite; no relocation permitted; location must be listed on resume) Pay rate: $23.10/hr (includes shift differential) Work schedule: Swing Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00 PM – 1:30 AM (10-hour shifts; 1-year assignment with extensions possible up to 3 years; Assignment Dates: 11/02/2026 – 10/29/2027)Overview The Manufacturing Technician I performs sterile pharmaceutical filling, inspection, and packaging operations within a highly automated, cGMP-regulated facility. Working under the guidance of the Process Unit Lead, this role operates and troubleshoots packaging equipment, executes batch records using automated systems (SAP, MES, PLCs), assists maintenance with overhauls, performs environmental monitoring, and maintains accurate documentation in full compliance with GDP (Good Documentation Principles) and Lean/Six Sigma standards.Job SpecificationsOperate, clean, set up, and change over automated production equipment used to fill, inspect, and package vials, pre-filled syringes, and device componentsPerform manual and semi-automated visual inspections of filled product vials for quality, clarity, and defectsExecute production recipes, check-in materials, and track inventory using SAP, MES, PiProcess Book, PLCs, and HMI computer systemsComplete Batch Production Records (BPRs), equipment logbooks, and forms adhering strictly to Good Documentation Principles (GDP)Assist Engineers and Maintenance Mechanics with equipment repairs, calibrations, preventative maintenance, and major overhaulsIdentify, report, and document process deviations, atypical events, and safety hazards in accordance with site SOPsConduct environmental monitoring and routine housekeeping/5S activities in classified and non-classified manufacturing areasHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years of manufacturing experience in regulated industries (biotech, pharmaceutical, aerospace, automotive, semiconductor, or food/beverage) OR an Associate Degree in Bioscience Technology/Microelectronics required2 to 5 years of experience operating inspection and packaging equipment within the last 7 years highly preferredComputer literate with basic typing skills and proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and web navigationMust pass initial and annual job-related qualifications: vision acuity and color discrimination tests, visual inspection qualification, and on-site medical evaluation for cleanroom gowningPhysical ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods requiredSubmittal & Interview ProcessSubmission requires candidate resume explicitly listing their local Oregon/Hillsboro addressInterview Format: One (1) on-site panel interviewBenefits: Health insurance Health savings account Dental insurance Vision insurance Flexible spending accounts Life insurance Retirement plan All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to age, race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.
