Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Manufacturing Clerk provides critical administrative support to various plant operations including production, purchasing, HR, safety, and shipping. This role ensures accurate recording and reporting of production data, inventory, materials, and other key metrics to support plant operations in a high-speed, continuous manufacturing environment.

Job responsibilities include daily recording of production numbers and preparation of weekly corporate reports, confirming production matches in all systems and verifying alignment with palletizer data, discussing discrepancies with supervisors and ensuring corrections, calculating and recording efficiencies, seconds, hours worked, and downtime, recording all inventory counts, analyzing variances, and reporting findings, entering transfer data and updating inventory count groups post-production, developing production run schedules based on input from order center and demand forecasts, creating and managing manufacturing orders in Mapics, including updates and mid-week changes, completing the weekly corporate report for end-of-week review, processing rewraps of shingle bundles using Green Screen, receiving raw materials and service items into Mapics, collaborating with Accounts Payable to resolve invoice discrepancies, updating and monitoring rail reports to track raw material shipments and expected arrivals, conducting monthly, quarterly, and annual inventory counts and post approved results, preparing and distributing monthly supply chain data and organization review reports, generating waste reports and processing Quality Defect Reports (QDRs), scheduling and coordinating all plant visits and tours, maintaining staff and conference room calendars, providing general administrative support across departments as needed. This is a safety sensitive position.
