We are seeking a Paralegal Legal Assistant to become a part of our team! You will provide overall support to attorneys' business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the drafting and reviewing of legal documents
- Investigate facts to help in the negotiation of legal disputes
- Record and store client information
- Negotiating to resolve outstanding disputes
- Customer Service via telephone communication
- Efiling
- Taking payments/ negotiating payment terms
- Communicating with various Courts and related entities
- Calendaring
- Open Files
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paralegal or other legal field
- Familiarity with drafting legal documents
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Experience with Efiling documents
- Knowledge of Small Claims Court Procedures
