A rapidly expanding company in the entertainment and technology sector is seeking an experienced and highly organized Senior Accountant to join its finance team. Reporting directly to the Accounting Manager and Director of Treasury, the Senior Accountant will play an essential role in maintaining accurate financial records, overseeing billing and collections, and supporting month-end closing and audit activities.

Primary responsibilities include overseeing customer invoicing and monitoring automated billing systems to ensure accuracy and consistency. The Senior Accountant will manage the full accounts receivable cycle, including payment posting and reconciliation. They will partner closely with the Treasury team to confirm proper application of payments and resolve discrepancies. Additionally, they will maintain general ledger entries for AR activity and assist with period-end closing processes.

The role also involves conducting regular account reconciliations and assisting with internal and external audit requests. The Senior Accountant will generate and analyze reports to support financial decision-making, communicate professionally with customers regarding payment status, billing inquiries, or account issues, and contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives within the accounting department.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Accounting, CPA certification preferred but not mandatory, 25 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably in accounts receivable or general ledger functions. Familiarity with ERP systems such as NetSuite and payment platforms like Bill.com is a plus. Experience working across multiple business units or entities is highly valued. Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. The ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality is essential.
