Caregiver | Weekly Pay | Flexible ScheduleNow hiring Caregivers immediately to provide one-on-one in-home care and companion care for seniors and older adults throughout the Louisville area.Pay: $15.00–$17.00/hour | Weekly Pay | Full-Time & Part-Time Available | Flexible Day, Evening, Night & Weekend ShiftsIf you are a compassionate caregiver looking for stable weekly pay, flexible scheduling, and meaningful work helping seniors remain safe and independent at home, we would love to speak with you.BrightStar Care Louisville is proud to be recognized as a 2025 & 2026 Employer and Provider of Choice in Home Care.Caregiver Responsibilities• Provide one-on-one companion care and emotional support to seniors and older adults in the home setting• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene• Support mobility, transfers, and ambulation to ensure client safety• Assist with meals, light housekeeping, and daily household tasks as needed• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, grocery shopping, and community activities• Observe, document, and report changes in client condition to the care team or Director of Nursing• Promote client independence, dignity, safety, and overall quality of lifeRequirements• High school diploma or GED• Minimum one (1) year of caregiving experience preferred in home care, senior care, assisted living, or healthcare setting• Current CPR certification and negative TB test or chest X-ray (assistance available if needed)• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of automobile insurance• Ability to communicate effectively in English and follow care instructions• Must be able to stand, walk, squat, bend, kneel, reach, twist, push and pull. Varied assistance is required depending on the mobility of the client.
