Senior Accountant

The Colorado River Municipal Water District is accepting applications for the following position in Big Spring : Senior Accountant: Assists with the maintenance of the district's financial records, accounting systems and processes necessary to manage the district's business. Responsibilities include accounts receivables, maintain district banking and GL reconciliations. Maintains fixed assets and assist with financials statements and financial reporting. The CRMWD is seeking a multi-talented person ready to invest themselves into the organization. Must be highly organized, detailed, and proficiency in MS Office Outlook, Excel, and Word is required.Experience in relevant accounting software is preferred. This position requires a valid drivers license and a High School diploma or GED. Accounting degree is preferred. The District is offering a competitive salary for this position dependent on qualifications and experience.
