School Social Worker (Elementary) Location: Warren, MI Caseload: Elementary Start Date: 26-27 School Year About the Opportunity: AnthroMed Education is looking for a dedicated School Social Worker to join our team in Warren, MI. This is a full‑time position supporting one elementary school for the 2026-2027 school year. As a School Social Worker with AnthroMed, you’ll join a dynamic, collaborative team that values student success, personal growth, and professional development. We offer unmatched clinical support, ongoing training, and a network of peers who are passionate about making a difference. Caseload and Environment: Targeted Caseload: General and Special Education. Focus: Supporting students across a variety of needs including students in a self‑contained classroom. Dedicated Space: You will have a private, dedicated office space to conduct sessions and meetings. Responsibilities: Provide direct and indirect social work services to students in need of emotional, behavioral, and social support. Conduct IEP evaluations and contribute to the development of meaningful student goals. Facilitate small group and individual sessions. Lead and support the implementation of BIPS and FBAs. Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings to advocate for student needs. Support students and families in accessing community resources. Qualifications: Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program. Michigan School Social Work Certification (Required) Experience working with school‑aged children is preferred. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
