Machine Operator

Job Duration: 3 months

• Machine Operator will operate various card production equipment to personalize debit/credit cards according to customers specifications.
• Work with other operators technicians and supervisory staff to achieve daily / monthly goals.
• Perform minor equipment maintenance and adjustments per written and oral instructions.
• Work independently performing quality inspections on own work according to production standards.
• Identify potential production and quality problems recommending remedial corrective or contingency action.
• Awareness and compliance with all security and production policies & procedures.

• Must possess basic computer skills
• Maintain housekeeping standards of workstation
• Order supplies as needed
• Attend appropriate training and meetings as required
• Meet safety standards

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• Basic computer skills
• Basic math skills required
• Good communication skills in both written and verbal
• Strong analytical numerical and reasoning abilities
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written oral diagram or schedule form
• Ability to establish credibility and be decisive but able to recognize and support the organizations preferences and priorities

• 1-3 years experience in mechanical ability
• 1-3 years experience in safety rules and maintenance instructions
• Intermediate computer skills

• Required to be standing and operating a machine 6 hours a day
