Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician The Indigo Road Hospitality Group (IRHG) is seeking a motivated, energetic Maintenance Technician to join the Maintenance Department and be responsible for the upkeep and repair of the hotel’s physical structure, equipment, and grounds. Responsibilities Perform maintenance and repairs and preventative maintenance in all areas of the hotel. Service hallways, public areas, and rooms as needed along with all other tasks as assigned. Complete all maintenance requests and tasks as assigned for the day. Visually inspect public areas and the overall resort for cleanliness, appearance, and safety. Maintain a clean and organized maintenance shop and safeguard the hotel inventory and assets such as tools, supplies, furniture, fixtures, and equipment. Respond quickly and efficiently to all guest requests; practice chemical safety rules and follow procedures for needles and other hazardous materials. Report all suspicious persons, activities, or hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Manager. Follow all Lost and Found protocols. Maintain high standards of guest relations when in contact with guests. Order supplies, receive daily instructions, and read equipment manuals including safety information. Requirements Positive energy and readiness to assist fellow support staff as a team player. Prior maintenance experience is preferred. Good communication and multitasking skills. Ability to assist in all maintenance duties. Additional education, training, or certification is preferred. Must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Ability to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, ascend, reach, push, pull, or lift frequently and for extended periods. Benefits Competitive salary and benefits package.
