As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Medical Facility Patrol in Cleveland, OH , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking‑up additional shifts when it works for you. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTimeWed10:00 PM - 06:00 AM How This Role Works: Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment. Earn More, Claim‑A‑Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick‑up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part‑time hours this week and full‑time the next. It’s all up to you. This role is ideal for candidates seeking part‑time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build‑up to a full‑time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed. Responsibilities: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts and/or emergency personnel as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, helping to enforce location rules, direct foot traffic, and report security‑related concerns involving restricted or sensitive areas. Support daily healthcare operations by assisting with de‑escalation, providing directions, and reporting maintenance, environmental, and/or security‑related issues observed during patrols. Minimum Requirements: Must be willing to meet hospital vaccine requirements. Must be able to work in a hospital environment that includes morgue areas. Proof of high school diploma or GED is required. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting. CPR certification is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
