Your Responsibilities

• Perform thorough patient evaluations, including physical examinations and careful reviews of medical histories.
• Assist in the assessment and diagnosis of surgical conditions through comprehensive interpretation of imaging studies and laboratory findings.
• Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement individualized surgical care plans.
• Provide intraoperative assistance, which includes preparing operating rooms, ensuring proper patient positioning, and delivering instruments during surgery.
• Offer outstanding pre-operative and post-operative care that involves medication management, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education.

Qualifications

• Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.
• Experience with surgical rotations is highly preferred.

Certifications

• Current and unrestricted PA-C certification.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant.
