Job Responsibilities
  • Craft Customized Therapy Plans: Assess patients' specific needs and create individualized therapy strategies to assist in accomplishing their functional aspirations
  • Deliver Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based techniques that enhance patients' physical abilities and cognitive functions in everyday tasks
  • Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Work alongside OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to guarantee comprehensive and integrated care
  • Educate Patients and Families: Instruct patients and their relatives on therapy techniques to ensure continued improvement at home
  • Evaluate and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical progress and modify therapy plans as necessary to keep patients on track
Education Requirements
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution
  • Continuing education or advanced certifications encouraged and supported
Required Certifications
  • Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license
  • NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification mandatory
