Job Description

• Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patient needs and formulate individualized plans aimed at helping them achieve their personal goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Practices: Apply evidence-based strategies to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and activities of daily living.
• Collaborate with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work in close partnership with OTs, PTs, STs, doctors, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, holistic care.
• Empower Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and their caregivers on therapeutic techniques to encourage progress beyond therapy sessions.
• Track Progress and Adjust Plans: Monitor clinical outcomes and modify treatment protocols as necessary, ensuring patients remain on the path to success.

Education

• Bachelor's or master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program.
• Ongoing education or additional certifications are encouraged and supported.

Certifications

• Current Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) state license.
• NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is required.
