Description - Diesel / Rig Mechanic Job DescriptionDiesel / Rig Mechanic's responsibilities include diagnosing operational problems and making repairs to correct them. Mechanic must also complete all Fleet and Oilfield Rig maintenance processes and keep vehicles/rigs operational to support fleet/rig operations.
Diesel / Rig Mechanic Primary Job Responsibilities
- Complete all bumper to bumper maintenance/repairs in a timely manner and safely.
- Responsible for Oil Rig maintenance/repairs in a timely manner and safety.
- Maintain a clean and organized work station/location.
- Perform other related duties as required or assigned.

Position Requirements - Diesel / Rig Mechanic Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in Caterpillar, Cummings and Ford engine maintenance and repair and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- ASE Detroit Diesel Certified (preferred)
- ASE Cummins Diesel Certified (preferred)
- DOT inspection knowledge, and Air Brake Certification (preferred)
- Welding experience. (preferred)
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
