Apply now!Envelope Machine Adjuster Responsibilities:Make proper size changes and adjustments to all assigned machines in accordance with estimated change times; obtain approval from lead adjuster or supervisor on start-up of new ordersMonitor assigned machines and performance of Operators to ensure quality (folding, gumming, printing, count, packaging, etc.) and run speed standards are being metTroubleshoot operating difficulties, analyze machine operations and make necessary mechanical adjustments to eliminate quality variations and mechanical malfunctionsProvide training and assistance to coworkers, including other AdjustersEnsure change parts are cleaned and returned to assigned areas at completion of orderPerform minor machine maintenance and assist maintenance team with major repairs and/or machine movesMonitor machine shutdowns, where applicable, to ensure proper cleaningRequirements for Envelope Machine Adjuster:High School Diploma or GEDPrevious experience within a manufacturing setting; paper and/or converting industry experience preferredExperience operating, troubleshooting, and maintaining envelope converting equipment (FL Smithe or W+D) preferred; printing experience highly preferredBasic math skills and the ability to accurately read a rulerExcellent mechanical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsBasic computer skillsQPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
