Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support patients, visitors, and staff with outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $30.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Saturday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM; Sunday: 06:00 AM - 02:30 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions. Monitor access points and help control entry and exit activity in accordance with site policies, while documenting observations, incidents, and/or security-related concerns. Support a welcoming environment by assisting with directions, observing for patient and visitor concerns, and reporting hazards, maintenance issues, and/or suspicious activity to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required by the client. Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
